Handmade bespoke packaging, made in the UK, for brands that need something exceptionally unique.

Tiny Box Maker is Rachel Watkyn OBE’s UK-based bespoke packaging manufacturer, based in Redruth, Cornwall. The business creates handmade custom boxes, semi-bespoke gift boxes and luxury presentation packaging for brands that need packaging made around the product, not the other way round.

It was born after Tiny Box Company bought a factory in Cornwall in 2016, previously known as The Box Office. Rather than losing the knowledge and skill that already existed there, Rachel kept the key team in place and built Tiny Box Maker around British manufacturing, craftsmanship and proper box-making expertise. Tiny Box Maker is now one of the few rigid box-making factories left in the UK.

The main difference between Tiny Box Company and Tiny Box Maker is simple. Tiny Box Company offers a huge range of off-the-shelf packaging. Tiny Box Maker creates packaging from scratch. If a brand needs a box for a luxury product, a product launch, a press sample, a pitch, a one-off event, a high-end gift or something so unique, it's near impossible to find something similar, this is where Tiny Box Maker comes in.

Bespoke Packaging Tailored To You

Tiny Box Maker specialises in bespoke packaging, creating boxes tailored to the product, brand and customer experience. Their team can help with box styles, paper choices, foiling, inserts, finishes and all the small details that make packaging feel considered rather than cobbled together five minutes before launch. Their bespoke service covers repeat products as well as one-off promotional, gift and presentation items.

The beauty of Tiny Box Maker is that it is not limited to standard packaging formats. The team can produce custom boxes for luxury goods, jewellery, cosmetics, perfumes, candles, food gifts, corporate gifting, product samples, photography, keepsakes, investor pitches, press kits and premium retail launches. If something needs to arrive, open, present or be remembered in a specific way, the box can be designed around that moment.

Semi-Bespoke Packaging

Tiny Box Maker’s semi-bespoke service is designed for businesses that want custom packaging without needing to start completely from scratch. It allows brands to choose from a selection of standard box sizes, then make the packaging their own through paper choice, colour, finish and branding. It is a practical route for businesses that want something more considered than off-the-shelf packaging, but do not necessarily need a fully bespoke box structure.

This makes semi-bespoke packaging especially useful for quick and simple personalisation. A brand can keep the reliability of a proven box size while still creating something that feels tailored, polished and properly aligned with the product inside. In very Rachel terms, it is custom packaging without making the whole thing needlessly complicated.

Printed Custom Gift Packaging

Branding is a major part of what Tiny Box Maker does, and because the boxes are made from scratch, there are far fewer limitations than with standard stock packaging. The team can work with a wide range of branding methods, including foil printing, digital print, screen printing and litho printing, depending on the design, finish and quantity required.

This means businesses are not limited to a small logo in the middle of a lid, unless that is exactly what they want. Tiny Box Maker can support more creative and high-impact packaging, including full edge-to-edge print, detailed artwork, bold colours, premium foiling, internal print and branded finishes that make the whole box feel considered from every angle.

For retail brands, product launches, press kits, luxury goods and corporate gifting, this level of branding helps packaging reach a much more professional standard. A well-branded box does not just carry a product. It supports the brand, improves the first impression and makes the packaging feel like part of the experience rather than an afterthought.

Inserts & Extras

Tiny Box Maker can also create internal and external extras that make a box work properly, and a design that can really stand out. This includes card inserts, foam inserts, satin lining, sleeves and belly bands. These details matter because luxury packaging is not just about how the outside looks. It is also about how the product sits, how it opens, how it is protected and whether the whole thing feels intentional from the first touch to the final reveal.

Paper & Materials

Material choice is another important part of the process. Tiny Box Maker offers a wide range of paper types, including Wibalin® papers in different finishes such as Natural, Matte, Fine Linen and Buckram, as well as recycled options and specialist papers from leatherette to animal print, there are no limits! This helps brands choose packaging that feels right for the product, whether that is understated, colourful, textured, classic, modern or very much “please make this look exceptional”.

Sustainability at Tiny Box Maker

Sustainability is built into the way Tiny Box Maker approaches bespoke packaging. Every paper, board, glue and print process is considered with the environment in mind, from FSC-approved board and recycled paper options to recyclable materials, responsible forestry standards and waste reduction. Their boards range from 70% recycled paper pulp to FSC-approved board, and all board is fully recyclable. The company also works with suppliers and processes that support standards such as FSC, PEFC, REACH compliance and ISO 14001 environmental management, helping brands create luxury packaging that feels beautiful, professional and more responsible. For Rachel, that is the important bit: proving that high-end, handmade packaging does not need to ignore the world it comes from.
